Asst. Manager- Business Development

Overview

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development (BD) Assistant Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting marketing efforts and forging strong relationship with clients.

  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
  • Manage proposal response process, including detaile RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision- makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, marketing processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients for Directors.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare marketing pitches to generate New Business.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide post meeting marketing reports and plan of action.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers through proper communication channels.
  • Maintaining company website, SEO.

Role:

  • Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities.
  • Develop & maintain data bank of existing clients & new prospects.
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/ medium/ long-term business pipeline in accordance with targets.
  • Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals.
  • Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics.

Skills:

  1. Strong oral and written communication.
  2. Fair Understanding of financial concepts and financial statements.
  3. Fair Understanding of Balance sheet & P/L and applicable ratios.
  4. Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and switch between multiple projects during the course of the day.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
  6. Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events.
  7. Excellent MS-Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills)
  8. Ability to open communication channels with prospects and engage.
